ABOUT

About the Exhibition

Aoi Miyake creates works centered on silkscreen, drawing on quiet scenes and sensations found in everyday life.

Through layers of delicate lines and pale fields of color, her work evokes moments of nature and warmth that emerge within daily life. The pieces stay close to the viewer’s memories and emotions while settling naturally into living spaces.

Lines, Color Fields and Layers II is Miyake’s first solo exhibition at Gallery NOOOG in roughly a year. The exhibition presents an expanded body of work formed through the overlapping of line and color.

A silkscreen workshop led by the artist is also held during the exhibition period.
